About Me
We love coaching aspiring athletes
My name is Alex and I welcome you the Strength and Nutrition Academy – where young footballers can experience elite nutrition. My role as a Performance Nutritionist over the past 6-years has been to develop young footballers into professionals in the English Premier League.
My knowledge and experience extends into Sport Science and Strength & Conditioning. I also teach and lead on several high-performance modules at the University of Roehampton.
My own experience has seen me Head of Performance and Nutrition to Head of Academy Nutrition in the Premier League. I have recently submitted my PhD to be be published in the summer which highlights the dietary behaviours needed for academy players to succeed.
My aim and the purpose of this platform is to give every young footballer the opportunity to experience the highest levels of nutritional guidance.

His manner was excellent and he really discussed healthy options and solutions, encouraging my son to engage and be on board with changes rather than just "telling". He explained ideas in an easy to understand way which was important to us as I was fed up reading about grams/weights per day, and needed a more simple guide. My son has embraced most of the changes, which I feel were tailored to his physique/game and covered foods, vitamins, drinks etc and good pre and post match good habits. Sometimes a child needs a third party to converse with as do not like to be told by parents and listen more to an external professiona - this was why I introduced my son to him. We are confident this has improved his game and eating habits/ energy levels and I feel it worth investing the time with Alex as it has been highly valuable to us.
